Sydney Tours

"Sydney Tours - which are the best tours to take part in whilst you are here visiting Sydney!!"

I'm generally a fan of DO IT YOURSELF. I hope this website gives you enough information to go off and explore Sydney yourselves without having to pay extra to take part in a tour.

But sometimes there are tours that will enhance your experience. This page focuses on a few key tours that are good. There is a separate page for Australia Tours From Sydney that take you a bit further a field to places such as the Hunter Valley or the Blue Mountains.

Best Sydney Day Tours

Here are my picks of Sydney tours to add to your Sydney Holiday experience:

  • Sydney Photography Tours - great for anyone wanting to take in the sights and get some great photos too. They will take you around the historic Rocks for approx 3 hours and give you some good tips. Cost is approx $100.
  • Manly Bike Tours - A great way to see Manly and visit some secluded beaches. About $90 for 2 hours including bike hire
  • Lets go surfing - Everyone should at least have one lessons. It's really hard and the type of thing you have to learn as a kid to be really good. But, you can't come to Sydney or Australia and not have a go! Done on Bondi Beach and will cost you about $100 for 2 hours, less out of season.
  • Chic in the City - For those who want a shopping trip with a difference. Either chauffeur driven or with your own stylist
  • The Rocks Ghost Tour - a walking tour around the Rocks with a difference! Done at night to heighten the experience. Cost approx $42. Great for teenagers
  • Sydney Harbour Cruise Majistic and Captain Cook battle it out for the most affordable cruise experience. Both are pretty much the same offering a buffet and cruise at both lunch time (cheaper) or evening. An evening cruise with buffet meal will cost you about $70 per person
