Best Restaurants In And Around Hobart
Peppermint Bay is a 30 minute drive out of Hobart to a cute village called Woodbrige. The drive is well worth it. They have a restaurant and a more informal bar area both serving sumptuous local delicacies. The views are also lovely with the entire restaurant being pretty much glass fronted. A good choice for lunchRemi de Provence - a famous chef (Remi Bancal) bringing a piece of France to the region. Fine dining indeed.Battery Point Steak House - an intimate cottage experience with some fantastic beef. Set on the Tamar River, this place offers awesome local wine and produce with a menu that changes every season.

Love the wine bar and open log fire place!Swansea, nr Freycinet National Park - Piermont Restaurant on the main Tasman Highway, 3km outside of Swansea. Wow! The views over the Freycinet National Park are stunning and so is the food. I had the duck and it was to die for! Loved the walk in wine area and log fires
