Minnie Water

"Minnie Water - an old fashioned fishing village where you'll feel at one with nature!"

This old fashioned fishing village boasts yet another great beach along the East Coast of Australia.

Set in acres of national park, you will feel like you've rediscovered what life should be about - Remote, unspoiled, uncrowded and totally at one with nature.

How To Get To The Beach?

You'll find this beach between Yamba and Coffs Harbour on the NSW East Coast. The nearest town is 14km away at Wooli.

The backdrop is Yuraygir National Park where there is an abundance of wildlife, particularly birds.

Why Visit This Beach?

This 1.5km beach is suitable for surfing and fishing and its north end.

Its proximity to the national park means it is great for bush walking and bird watching.

The southern part of the beach has a rock reef which provides a natural anchorage point for the fishing boats

The Main section of the beach is patrolled during the summer months so you can swim safely here.

There is also a camping spot just north from the beach at Illaroo.

You'll find a small store here too.
