"Melbourne Tours - Find Out The Best Tours To Suit You!"

Hopefully you have already discovered plenty of things you can do on your own from this site that doesn't involve taking a tour. But sometimes, an experience is enhanced by allowing an expert to guide you.

Below are the Melbourne tours that I think add the most value and are worth paying the money:-

Tours In Melbourne Itself

The Hidden Secrets Tour Company offer some great authentic trips. You can browse their site for more ideas but here are my favourites:

  • The Lanes and Arcades Tour - a great walking tour to discover the secret back streets of Melbourne - history, architecture and discovery of shops, restaurants and great coffee. Cost approx $100
  • A Vintage Outing Great for those of you into vintage shopping. This tour takes you around the best vintage clothing and homeware stores in Melbourne, all in a vintage car. Cost approx $200
  • Coffee Culture Tour - a real part of Melbourne's culture. Experience some of the best lanes in Melbourne, the best coffee and some interesting nibbles along the way. Cost approx $100
  • For some other suggestions:

  • The Neighbours Tour - Did you grow up watching Kylie and Jason on Neighbours?? Why not visit the set and enjoy some behind the scenes fun on this tour. This gets booked out quickly so I suggest booking in advance. Bus tours depart daily with Bunyip Only word of caution is this tends to attract a heap of backpackers!

This is one that you could do yourself though. If you have your own car you can take a drive by the estate and Lou Carpenters house on Ramsay Street! Its real name is Pin Oak Court in Vermont South and if you get there at the right time you may catch the cast and crew filming. Clearly this is a cheaper way of seeing your stars!
