Limes Hotel Brisbane - A very funky hotel for those of you who want to be in the heart of the nightlife in Fortitude Valley. The roof top bar, outdoor cinema and bistro are a firm favourite with the locals. A great new hotel on the party scene. $$($)
Quay West Suites. Near the Botanical Gardens on Mary Street. Most rooms have a great view of the river and gardens. Kitchen facilities and large rooms. $300
Hilton HotelWinner of Value for Money Hotel in Brisbane 2008 this hotel is in the shopping mall right in the centre. Some of the bathrooms are getting a bit tired now. $190
Sebel King GeorgeCentrally located and recently renovated $220
Mercure HotelClean and Central $200
Marriott Hotel Brisbane - a fairly business orientated hotel but the views of the river and bridge make it a good option for non-business visitors. The hotel is also a non-smoking hotel.
Holiday Inn Brisbane - not somewhere to stay for more than one night but good as an overnight option if you are planning on taking the train. The train station which runs directly to the airport is right underneath. Despite the hotel being a tall skyscraper, it can still get noisy. But for the convenience of getting off the train and straight into a hotel, it's a good location, right in the centre of the CBD.
Novotel Hotel Brisbane - A little cheaper that some of the other options and the rooms are a good size, clean, good buffet breakfast and good location. Not a bad option at all.
Ibis Hotel Brisbane - close to the city but a bit quieter. Good for a couple of days and whilst it's all quite basic, it is good value for money
Chiefley at Lennons Hotel Very Central $200
