Crown Casino Melbourne

"Crown Casino Melbourne - so Much More than Just a place to Gamble!"

This is probably one of my most favourite complexes in Australia. I know it's big and a bit over the top, but it's a great place to wander, admire the views and it's my favourite place to stay when I'm in Melbourne.

What to Do in the Crown Casino Melbourne

The complex itself is really large and sits on the Yarra River. Look at the tall skyscrapers and you'll spot the Crown complex easily with its towers and striking crown logo.

EAT AND DRINK

Some of the best restaurants are in the Crown Casino Melbourne. Here are a few of the best who all have well known chefs. Booking for most of these would be essential. Also check out my Melbourne Restaurants page for more inspiration

  • Rockpool Bar and Grill - famous for its meat, especially its steaks. Expensive!
  • Giuseppe Arnold & Co - a bit tricky to find but is an excellent Italian restaurant with a good wine list.
  • Nobu - Posh Japanese - a meal you will never forget but on the expensive side.
  • Whilst the above are all very well known, you can take a wander and find cheaper eateries, cafes, cake shops etc. There really is something for everyone. The ones that face the Yarra river are all good and offer a great outlook and place to people watch.

    ENTERTAINMENT

There is always something going on in this complex. There are concerts here on a regular basis attracting some of the top stars.

Free entertainment is also on offer in some of the bars and restaurants. The Atrium often has something going on e.g. Jazz.

You'll also find cinemas and ten pin bowling all under the one roof.

And of course there are the many gambling tables to fritter your money on!

    A PLACE TO STAY

The complex has a selection of hotels, all offering 4 star quality. You can read more about them on my Hotels in Melbournepage but essentially <Crown Promenade Hotelor the Crown Metropol Hotel are both awesome hotels.
